ENTRY FEES Entry fees will only be charged for athletes. Due to the unpredictable fluctuation in the exchange rate, all fees will be charged in South African Rand. Fees are set according to the exchange rate on 9 January 2006, RSA rand as an equivalent to US $110 for the first event in which the athlete competes. As set out in the Technical Regulations an equivalent of US $25 was worked out for each additional event in which the athlete competes and an equivalent of US $25 to be charged for each person participating in Synchronized Trampoline.
Entry fees for athletes will be as follows:
R700 per athlete - first event R160 per athlete - each additional event R160 per athlete participating in Synchro
Exact amounts in rand were R683.6, R155.25 and R310.5 for late entries. At the Indo Pacific Congress held in Eindhoven it was decided that a slight increase should be considered every 2 years, in view of rising costs. However, RSA settled for amounts as it were 2 years ago and just rounded it off to easier amounts for administrative purposes.
There will be no entry fees charged for officials.
LATE FEESAs per the Technical Regulations the entry fee(s) must be sent in advance and before the stated deadline. Failure to send the entry fee in advance shall constitute a late entry. Entry fees are NON-refundable. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organizing committee.
Failure to send all entry fees with the Nominative Registration forms shall constitute a late entry. Late fees of R300 per athlete will apply.
Bank details for payments are as follows: Account name: SAGF Bank: NEDBANK Branch: CRESTA Branch code: 191305 Account number: 191 3207 536
JUDGING REQUIREMENTS The number of judges each participating federation must provide will be determined following receipt of the Nominative Entry. Federations will be required to provide a specific number of judges based on the number of athletes their federation has registered. Participating federations must provide preferably properly certified FIG judges at Brevet or International level. Federations are kindly requested to indicate if they are able to provide more than minimum number required. Those federations whose judging programs are still being developed will be given special consideration. Federations with larger teams will be required to provide a greater number of judges than those with smaller teams.
Federations will be notified by April 28, 2006 of their judging requirements. Federations must then forward the judges names and qualifications to the organizing committee no later than May 12, 2006.
Mr John Beeton, member of the FIG Trampoline Technical Committee has kindly accept an invitation to attend the competition. Mr John Beeton, assisted by the Jury of appeal as decided upon at the Indo Pacific Congress, Kelowna, Canada, July 16 2004, will oversee the standards of judging during the 2006 competition.
